PROOF-OF-WORK • BLOCKDAG • PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Private by default.
One-second speed.

ZKAS combines a Kaspa-derived GHOSTDAG BlockDAG with Orchard shielded transactions, so payments are private by construction while the network targets one-second blocks.

NETWORK UPGRADE

ZKrise is live.

Official release ↗

Activated at mainnet DAA 6,983,500. The 5% development share has ended: miners now receive 100% of the block subsidy. The issuance schedule is unchanged.

What changed for miners and wallet users
  • Bound merged mining: ZKM1 binds each solution to one ZKas block, closing the double-mining hole.
  • Batched rewards: miner rewards accumulate into one note roughly every 100 DAA scores, or when the payout script changes.
  • Stronger security: anchor-block checks, expanded state commitments, verified shielded-history sync and RPC hardening.
  • Wallet performance: Zakura 2.2.0, improved note selection and faster wallet processing.

Use ZKrise-compatible node, bridge and wallet software. Operators should follow the official release instructions and confirm their node’s virtual DAA score keeps advancing.

ABOUT ZKAS

A private-by-default proof-of-work BlockDAG.

ZKAS combines a Kaspa-derived GHOSTDAG consensus engine with Orchard shielded transactions and Halo 2 zero-knowledge proofs. The result is a network designed for private transfers at a one-second block target, secured by kHeavyHash proof of work and merge-mineable alongside Kaspa.

01

Shielded from the start

Every normal transfer is shielded. Amounts, sender and recipient are hidden by construction rather than through an optional privacy mode.

02

Parallel proof of work

Blocks form a DAG instead of a single chain. GHOSTDAG orders parallel blocks into one accepted history while maintaining proof-of-work security.

03

Open and verifiable

The protocol, node software and monetary rules are public. ZKAS launched without a presale, founder allocation or spendable genesis premine.

GET STARTED

From zero to your first ZKAS in four steps.

Start with official resources, keep custody of your seed phrase, and verify addresses and software before moving meaningful funds.

01

Choose a wallet

Pick an official or self-hosted wallet option that matches your device and custody preference.

TOKENOMICS

Proof-of-work issuance with a perpetual security tail.

ZKAS has no fixed supply cap. Issuance is intentionally front-loaded, then transitions to a perpetual tail emission designed to keep proof-of-work security funded over the long term.

Genesis spendable premineNone

The genesis coinbase is documented as paying to an unspendable OP_FALSE script, and issuance is created through proof of work under consensus rules. The historical launch split was 57 ZKAS to miners and 3 ZKAS to development per 60 ZKAS block; the development share ended at mainnet DAA 6,983,500.

DISCOVER

Privacy at settlement speed.

ZKAS is a from-genesis cryptocurrency designed around mandatory shielded transfers, proof-of-work security, and a parallel BlockDAG architecture.

01

Mandatory privacy

Payments use Orchard shielded transactions with Halo 2 proofs. There is no transparent transfer mode.

02

One-second target

GHOSTDAG orders blocks produced in parallel, with a target of roughly one block per second.

03

Kaspa merged mining

ZKAS uses kHeavyHash and can be merge-mined alongside Kaspa, allowing the same work to secure both networks.

PRIVACY

Amounts, senders and recipients are hidden by construction.

ZKAS uses Zcash-derived Orchard privacy and Halo 2 zero-knowledge proofs on top of a Kaspa-derived GHOSTDAG engine. The network is designed so private transfers are the standard behavior, not an optional mode.

The protocol is open source. The project states that its novel shielded-state integration has not yet had an independent external audit, so users should verify current software and documentation before moving funds.

WALLET & EXCHANGES

Get ZKAS, move it to a wallet you control.

Choose the custody setup that fits how you plan to use ZKAS, then acquire it through a supported market or mining and move it into self-custody.

MINING

Mine with kHeavyHash.

ZKAS supports native proof-of-work and merged mining with Kaspa. Miners can use supported pools or run their own node and mining setup. Since ZKrise, miners receive the full block subsidy; pool service fees, if any, are separate. Operators need a ZKrise-compatible bridge for bound ZKM1 merged mining.

BUILD

Open source by design.

Core software, SDKs, payment tools and technical documentation are available publicly for developers and operators.

NETWORK

ZKAS

No premine. Proof of work from genesis.

ZKAS launched with no presale, founder allocation or airdrop. Its genesis coinbase is documented as provably unspendable, with issuance occurring through mining.
